The building itself lives up to its name. Playhouse keeps its residents engaged and entertained with a brightly tiled pool that opens out to the riverfront, not to mention a teppanyaki bbq and fireplace shaded by a cabana — socially inviting features amid a lushly landscaped garden. Personality was paramount when designing the interiors of the apartments, from an aspirational colour palette to crafted details like custom pendants, smoked timber floors, and blackened steel finishes. The joinery to the kitchen creates a strong culinary feel, kit out with colorful Smeg Marc Newson appliances and diagonal ceramic tiles that stitch each apartment together. Playhouse is more than a place of dwelling; it’s a place of living.
